This is a nice knife, very light and nimble, but I was disappointed in the consistency of the edge grind. The front part of the blade had been roughly ground to an edge and will need some time on a whetstone, to bring it to full sharpness. This should have been picked up at the factory.

Well I ordered this knife at a very strange time in the UK, with movement restrictions across the country as a result of coronavirus infections.
The Japanese part of the delivery operation worked extremely efficiently and the knives ( I was given a paring knife as a gift as well) arrived in the UK after a couple of days - unfortunately it then took a UK delivery firm a week to get them from one end of our country to the other - but no worries.
The knife itself is extremely well balanced. easy to use and extremely sharp. Also it looks fantastically beautiful.
