A craftsman from Sakai City, Osaka Prefecture with over 50 years of experience. One of the few remaining craftsmen in Japan who forges Gin-San (Silver-3 steel), a high-quality knife steel. Yamatsuka played a pivotal role in elevating the reputation of Gin-San and spreading its use in the knife-making industry.
