MUSASHI JAPAN, which is expanding globally, opens a new store in Kanazawa, a city known for its cultural heritage.

A new Japanese knife-experience space that blends seamlessly into the historic streetscape of the Higashi Chaya District. We have opened a new "MUSASHI JAPAN Kanazawa Higashi Chaya Store" in Kanazawa, Ishikawa Prefecture, on Thursday, May 7, 2026.

Up until now, MUSASHI JAPAN has been a brand that showcases high-quality Japanese knives, handcrafted by artisans throughout Japan, to both domestic and international markets, bringing the charm of traditional Japanese crafts and manufacturing culture to the world. And now, we are taking on a new challenge: Kanazawa, Ishikawa Prefecture.

◼️A space that reflects the charm of Kanazawa

To harmonize with the historically rich landscape of Higashi Chaya District, the interior design is based on Kanazawa's traditional color, bengara lacquer . The deep reddish-brown color brings a sense of calm and elegance to the space, further enhancing the dignified presence of the Japanese knives.

Furthermore, the interior incorporates designs inspired by the latticework (wooden insect cages) that symbolize the traditional townhouses of the teahouse district . The shadows and rhythms created by the latticework have been reinterpreted in a modern way, expressing a "MUSASHI JAPANESE aesthetic beauty" where tradition and modernity resonate.

By combining calming colors and natural materials, we have created a space that blends naturally with the historical landscape of Higashi Chaya District, while allowing visitors to experience the profound depths of Japanese culture.

◼️ The fusion of Kanazawa's Higashi Chaya District and Japanese knife culture

This area, where traditional craft experiences and walking tours are popular, attracts many domestic and international tourists seeking to experience and feel the essence of Japanese culture.

Within this context, MUSASHI JAPAN is not merely a retailer of Japanese kitchen knives, but a store that delivers the value of Japanese craftsmanship and manufacturing as an "experience ," thus having a strong affinity with the townscape and culture.

The historical landscape and cultural atmosphere of Higashi Chaya District further enhance MUSASHI JAPAN's worldview, and the store itself is designed to be "part of the Japanese cultural experience."

■A rare store design in the world, featuring an attached Japanese dining area.

MUSASHI JAPAN Kanazawa Higashi Chaya Store offers an immersive cultural space where the moment you encounter the beauty and craftsmanship of Japanese knives, you are transported to a culinary experience enhanced by their superior sharpness. The store also houses the Japanese restaurant "Oysters and Sushi ITTO ." This unique design allows you to learn about the history and techniques of traditional knife making and then immediately savor the natural flavors of ingredients brought out by their exceptional sharpness.

By seamlessly connecting "things (Japanese knives)" and "experiences (dining)," we offer an immersive experience that goes beyond a simple purchase, allowing you to savor the culture .

◼️The charm and potential of the city of Kanazawa

MUSASHI JAPAN has previously showcased Japanese craftsmanship in various regions, including Tokyo, Kyoto, Osaka, and Hiroshima. We believe this new store in Kanazawa presents a special opportunity to more deeply convey the value of Japanese kitchen knives in a city where traditional crafts are deeply rooted in everyday life and culture .

In Kanazawa, a deep-rooted appreciation for craftsmanship and artisanal skills, nurtured over a long history, permeates the entire city. By introducing Japanese kitchen knives within this environment, we believe that customers both domestically and internationally can more naturally experience the background and aesthetic sensibilities of Japanese craftsmanship .

MUSASHI JAPAN aims to be a brand that cherishes Japanese tradition while redefining and communicating its value in a way that resonates with modern sensibilities and the global market .
