“Santoku" means an all-purpose knife, including meat, fish, and vegetables. It is designed to have both features of Japanese Nakiri (vegetable knife) and Japanese Gyuto (meat knife). Being highly convenient and practical, it is most widely used in households. Recommended for those new to Japanese kitchen knives and novice cooks.

Shirogami No.2 has minimal impurities and a very fine grain structure, so it is ideal for fine cutting tools such as Japanese traditional-style knives. Despite being a ‘simple’ carbon steel, Shirogami No.2 has very good edge retention and it is also very easy to re-sharpen. Recommended for first-time users of Japanese traditional-style knives.

Damascus is a laminated steel knife made of several layers of different steel materials. The center of the blade is made of hard steel for sharpness, and both sides are covered with multiple soft steel materials. The multiple steels are metallurgically joined, not by plating or glue. The more the blade is forged, the more complex the ripples become, and the more beautiful the unique grain pattern becomes.

Mein Freund und ich haben verschiedene Messer gekauft:
Seine Meinung zu diesem Messer- Sehr sehr gute Schärfe, Schnitt Führung 1A , Aus tariert ist das Messer perfekt und liegt außergewöhnlich gut in der Hand.
Es sind nicht die letzten Messer die wir gekauft haben. Bekannte haben diese Messer gesehen bei uns und wir werden im Februar wieder eine Bestellung machen. Gruß Marco und Harry aus Deutschland.
