This Chinese Cleaver Pure-Molybdenum 220mm is a kitchen workhorse that will make any home chef's life easier! Its robust design and sharp blade makes quick work of tough chopping, slicing and dicing jobs. Crafted with pure molybdenum, it’s a reliable and powerful tool that will stand up to all your kitchen challenges!

Chinese Cleavers are generally available in blade lengths between 180 and 220 mm, with a typical blade height of around 100mm. Their weight varies from a relatively light 300g up to a massive 900g! Their large, heavy blades are suitable for breaking down chickens, mincing meat and vegetables, and even scraping ingredients.

Molybdenum is a competitively Stainless Steel that is very popular with knife producers. They are reasonably priced, easy to sharpen and have excellent corrosion-resistance. Molybdenum also incorporates Vanadium, which further improves the strength, toughness, and edge retention of the steel.

Migaki (Polished) line of knives feature beautiful edge geometry and are quite thin behind the edge and at the spine. They have an excellent cutting feel and are light and feel very nimble and comfortable in the hand.

Received incorrect and cheaper knife.

I ordered the Pure Molybdenum Cleaver but instead I received the cheaper non Pure version, upon contacting Musashi, I was told it would be sorted and I would receive a email stating what could be done. Unfortunately that was 3 weeks ago and I have emailed since with zero contact in return. Really disappointed as I liked this company and have ordered from them before.
