Gyuto Silver Steel #3 Nashiji Yaki Urushi Handle 210mm

¥39,800

This Gyuto Silver Steel #3 is the perfect balance of beauty and precision. It features a nashiji urushi handle for a secure grip and is crafted with exceptional precision. Equipped with an elegant 210mm blade, this is the ideal tool for your everyday slicing needs. Enjoy superior precision and stunning craftsmanship with this must-have Japanese knife.

The Gyuto is an all-purpose knife with a pointed tip and a slender blade. The pointed tip enables an easy targeted cut and helps slice meat and fish. It used to be a knife for professional chefs but nowadays is also used by households. Its curved blade helps you apply force to cut food without effort.

Gingami 3 is categorized to stainless steel for its 13-14.5% Chromium blending ratio. Although it’s a corrosion-resistant stainless steel, actual feel of cutting is closer to the high-end carbon steel, The edge is not slippy but significantly grabbing object fibers.

Another reason why professional chef selects Gingami 3 is a good affinity to whetstones at hand re-sharpening. The combination with the soft stainless SUS405 outer layer provides further easiness to the blade sharpening. Neo-Classic Nashiji finish gives irresistible appeal to the series as well. Satisfied

I am a chef from the US and have been wanting a knife made by musashi for a year now and I’m so glad I found the physical store while on vacation in Tokyo, I’ve never been happier with a knife, the quality and shape are perfect. I can’t wait to buy more knives from musashi when I visit again in March. I wish I could be a US ambassador for musashi honestly.

Thank you for the amazing knife!

Perfect

Holy shiznit this knife is sharp, and stays sharp. Fantastic handling, beautiful looks, and an edge that moves through meat (even raw) like butter. I bought this knife for trimming cuts after butchering, and can’t wait to give it a full run come hunting season. From its performance so far, it won’t disappoint.
The sales lady even artfully sold me the matching Nakiri, which I love. No regrets, and money well spent on the trip of a lifetime. The staff were incredibly friendly, and spoke perfect English which was helpful as I know about five Japanese words.
