Garasuki Boning Knife White steel #2 Kasumi Buffalo Ebony Handle 150mm

¥55,800

The Garasuki boning knife sharpens the art of cooking with its razor-sharp White steel #2 blade and luxurious buffalo ebony handle. Delicately cut your favorite meats and fish with a tool that's as elegant and beautiful as it is efficient! Wow your dinner guests with a perfectly prepared meal!

The Garasuki shares the same overall blade profile as the Honesuki, but the Garasuki is larger in size, thicker, and heavier. These features make it ideal for de-boning and breaking down the larger sizes of poultry and cuts of meat. Just like the Honesuki, many people have found this knife is also capable of filleting fish.

Shirogami No.2 has minimal impurities and a very fine grain structure, so it is ideal for fine cutting tools such as Japanese traditional-style knives. Despite being a ‘simple’ carbon steel, Shirogami No.2 has very good edge retention and it is also very easy to re-sharpen. Recommended for first-time users of Japanese traditional-style knives.Traditional Kasumi polished finish. Kasumi roughly translated to “mist” or “cloud” and refers to the hazy appearance of the soft steel/iron cladding, in contrast to the fine polished cutting edge. This elegant finish is very common on traditional style Japanese blades.
