Tsubaki oil is common and popular oil for maintenance of carbon steel knives. Unlike stainless steel kitchen knives, Carbon steel knives require extra attention and care for avoiding the rust and discolor. Before storing your Carbon steel knives, putting Tsubaki oil on the blade helps well for preventing rust and discolor. Recommended useful item for maintenance of carbon steel knives.

Knife and oil

I had bought a knife and oil about 2-3 years ago and I have to say it was one of my best purchases and would recommend anyone wanting a authentic Japanese knife to consider purchasing here, I had originally bought a sheath and they were very kind enough to tell me it wouldn't fit and refund me on the sheath instead of just selling it to me and having to find out for myself. Plus the Knife and oil are of the best quality of my knives I own. Thank you musashi for the knife and I will definitely be buying again.

Protection contre la corrosion.

Je n'ai pas encore essayé l'huile de camélia pour protéger mon Gyuto, mais je n'ai pas le moindre doute sur son efficacité.
Merci à l'équipe Musashi.

Oil

One or two drops are enough to protect your blade. Bottle is easy to use and doesnt leak. Oil doesnt smell and looks clear. No toxic chemistry

Product Features

Handmade Forging

With the traditional forging process, the molecules of the iron material are finely tuned, leading to the completion of a "living kitchen knife" that breathes.

Durability

The process of heating and forging each material for mold making is repeated three or four times to quickly shape the blade and create durability before the carbon is released from the steel causing it to lose its original strength.

Sharpness

The blade is the most important factor in achieving the best possible sharpness. It is polished in our own blade factory to produce uncompromising sharpness.

Handle

The highest priority is placed on sturdiness, a sense of luxury, and a shape that is easy to grip and does not cause fatigue even after long hours of use.
