The whetstones quality was excellent. The 6000 and 1000 grits are a good combination. Sharpened my knife right back to razor sharp in no time.
I find this whetstone to be of above average quality. It's a sizeable chunk of stone, and it looks as if it was professionally made to purpose - sharpening and polishing. Grit #1000/6000 - it's probably a good start for a newbie such as myself.
